Overview

A Course in Miracles maintains that we all harbor unconscious guilt as a result of a repressed belief that we chose and succeeded to separate from the one, whole, eternal, indivisible love we are. Fearful of punishment while attracted to the idea of individuality we attempt to project our guilt onto others to preserve our relative innocence and separate identity. It results in a futile game that condemns us to perpetual conflict. The Course teaches us to undo guilt at its source by practicing a unique form of forgiveness in our relationships. As we learn to forgive the impossible dream of separation we begin to remember our unified innocence. Peace returns to our minds and we remember God’s love, the one love we never really left.
