ACIM 10 min. video clips by Ken Wapnick

September 1, 2025

More than 150 short videos (roughly 10 min. each) on every possible ACIM topic you can think of…

Watch Dr. Kenneth Wapnick lecture on a selection of "A Course in Miracles" topics on YouTube.com

More on Ken and his Foundation:

Kenneth Wapnick taught and wrote about A Course in Miracles for more than 35 years, publishing more than 30 books and over 200 audio and video recordings of his classes and lectures, some works authored with his wife, Gloria. He is widely regarded as the world’s foremost teacher of the Course, which he has said is the most important spiritual document for our age. Kenneth, with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, was an associate of Dr. Helen Schucman, scribe of the Course, and Dr. William Thetford, Helen’s close friend, colleague, and collaborator in the scribing. Kenneth worked with Helen for over a year preparing the Course for publication.

In 1983, Kenneth and Gloria began the Foundation for A Course in Miracles in Ardsley NY, which moved to Crompond NY, then Roscoe NY, Temecula (Ca.) and is now located in Henderson, Nevada. The Foundation’s principal purpose over the years has been to assist students in understanding the Course through classes, discussion groups, and written, audio, video, and digital publications. The depth of Ken’s understanding of the Course’s thought system, his clarity and humor, and his constant demonstration of the Course’s gentle message of peace thru forgiveness continue to attract large numbers of people to his writings and recordings. It is the Foundation’s mission since Ken’s passing in December of 2013 to assure that his truly remarkable legacy of teachings continues to be available, now and for future generations. Three New Weekly One Hr. Zoom Sessions… will be added to SFACIM Schedule (starting Sun. Sept. 21, 2025)

August 28, 2025

Three New One Hour Zoom Sessions:

(starting on  9/21/25)

Due to the current, and seemingly worsening, global crises happening on our planet: including the financial, climatic, and political “pandemics” that are in our faces both personally and in the news…

Starting on Sept. 21, 2025:

Three new weekly  One Hour online sessions will be added to our weekly schedule, to help us all stay more balanced and peaceful in our minds thru the process of forgiveness as defined in ACIM, now and during any rough times ahead.

 MEETINGS ON

The proposed times

for these one hour online sessions,

beginning Sept. 21st, the day before fall equinox…

========

Evenings:

Sundays (starting 9/21) @ 6:30pm Mt with Tim (especially formatted for newcomers to A Course in Miracles)

Mornings:

Mondays (starting 9/23) @ 9:30am Mt with Tim & Friends

Fridays (starting 9/26) @ 9:30am Mt. with Marisa

=========

All of these sessions are free and all are welcome to attend!

Please click here for the Zoom link  to all our weekly 90 min. classes and these 60 min. discussion sessions.

These sessions will be shorter, unrecorded and more informal (with probably fewer folks attending and more time for discussion)… than our other regular weekly structured 90 minute classes.

The topic of each session will be up to the facilitator, with the focus on a few selected paragraphs from ACIM and how we use the process of forgiveness as expressed in ACIM in our dealings with all our perceived classrooms in the world, whether personal or global.

Our reactions to these people and situations are always all simply a reflection of which ‘teacher’ or guide in my mind (the ego or the Holy Spirit) that I am choosing to follow in how I see the world and myself.  Think of  Teilhard de Chardin’s standing on the edge of a horrific WW I battle scene, and still seeing and experiencing the beauty of God, beyond the seeming horror of the war.

———————————————–

Sundays @ 6:30pm Mt. will be especially geared for any people new or fairly new to A Course in Miracles… that may attend.

An understanding of Ken Wapnick’s chart and teachings on ACIM, before attending any of these one hr discussions, would be both helpful and appreciated.

If you are new to School for a Course in Miracles, please check out some of our introductory videos before attending our one hr. sessions or our 90 min. classes on Zoom:

** As with our regular weekly classes, the purpose of these new sessions are not for participants to present their own personal ideas about what the Course means, or other spiritualities,

… but to begin to understand the ACIM approach to forgiveness, and how to practice it (based on Ken Wapnick’s teachings on ACIM). Thanks!

Suggested Guidelines for Online Class Participation

November 8, 2024

 Guidelines for

SFACIM Online Class Participation:

We are a School for A Course in Miracles (SFACIM), whose classes’ purpose is to present a coherent, consistent, and clear process of forgiveness based on Dr. Kenneth Wapnick’s teachings on Jesus’s A Course in Miracles (ACIM).

**Unlike most ACIM meetings and discussion groups, our SFACIM classes are different in that they are actual classes, and are not meant to be open forums for Course students and other Course teachers to give their own teachings and opinions about the Course, or other spiritual systems or other spiritual books.

Questions are definitely encouraged as in any classroom situation, and examples of students practicing forgiveness are often requested from the facilitators.

It is quite helpful at times to discuss and share what has, and hasn’t worked, for us in our own process of working and applying the Course, and specifically Ken Wapnick’s teachings on it.

To do that we first have to begin to learn what forgiveness and healing are in ACIM… as we study Ken Wapnick’s teachings on the Course.

During class, we try to avoid advice-giving (also called crosstalk in 12 step meetings)… directly to someone else or the group as a whole. Our personal challenge is for us to become aware and responsible for our own process of the ‘undoing’ of our own ego selfishness and preoccupation, and not to avoid that process in ourselves by sometimes trying to “help” or fix someone else.

  • We definitely discourage individuals consistently judging and attacking others and their shares at mtgs (including in some unusual cases verbal bullying and/or intimidation). Those specific issues will be addressed and dealt with appropriately in as kind but firm way as possible. Once addressed, if that inappropriate behavior continues, we will ask the person not to return to the mtgs. We are trying to create and  maintain a safe environment for all of us in our sharing.

It is suggested and appreciated that all class participants take advantage of the opportunity to simply be students again, ask questions if so guided, and listen and learn and apply the Course teachings right there in class… no matter how many times they have heard or even taught the material themselves.

We are grateful for your patience and understanding.

Over-sharing in classes:

Although we definitely like and encourage our participants to share their questions and thoughts at our classes, please be mindful of over-sharing at the SFACIM classes. Some of us can get pretty chatty, and if we  think we might be doing that, we probably are. Any more than 6 to 8 shares per class is most likely too much.

It is very helpful simply to listen and spend time in class actually practicing forgiveness, and maybe not talk so much, giving others a chance to say something.

———–

Focusing on our own forgiveness of  others and ourselves…

Also please try in our shares to bring whatever we are discussing into a current framework of ACIM and its practice of forgiveness, whether it’s commenting on our past spiritual practices or anything else. In sharing about our past or current times where we feel like we may have failed God and/or ourselves, we try to eventually focus on how our forgiveness practice (by inviting Jesus’ or the Holy Spirit’s presence in our awareness) has helped us see past that guilt and shame, to who we truly are.

Any question about any of this please contact Tim and/or Lyn…. and most of all, thanks so much for your continued attendance and your willingness to participate in our classes and meetings.

Suggested more quiet time to actually integrate what we are talking about…

We would also recommend to our facilitators at least two full minutes of quiet time at the beginning and end of each class, and even sometimes in the middle of a class to help integrate quietly what is being discussed.

… best ask a participant to actually set a timer to remind the facilitator when at least two minutes of quiet have passed.

 No eating during classes please…

If however you do need to eat during class because of time constraints, please turn off  your video camera, while eating or moving around, so as not to be a distraction during class…. Thanks.

For Strongest and Most Consistent Signal during a Zoom session…

We recommend sitting as close to your router as possible, with your laptop or smart phone… This eliminates significantly a lot of the frozen screens and loss of audio during streaming.

Also, if you have the ‘5G’ option on network preferences on your computer, choose the 5G option over the regular option. (click here for tips on receiving stronger wifi signal)

And  for strongest signal, hardwire your computer to your router for the best signal during the class.

Info on wires, where to get them, and hooking them up: click here

Online Class Guidelines:

“Please Have Your Video Camera on During Class!”

Please have your video camera on during our 90 min. classes, and our free 75 min. sessions,

so we can see each others’ faces…

except for times when: 1) you are eating, or 2) you may need to move around during class, or 3) you may not be feeling well. .. thanks!

Video Tip:

*It helps to be aware of front lighting on your face instead of back lighting when on streaming… Otherwise your face will be silhouetted  and cannot be seen on the screen.
