Beginning in early Oct. 2026:

(Excerpted from the Introduction to this Anthology) In 1990, the Foundation for A Course in Miracles began its official newsletter, The Lighthouse. It evolved into a quarterly periodical announcing classes and publications, and featured articles written by us (Kenneth and Gloria Wapnick). We have thought for some time now, echoed in the numerous requests of others, to have these articles available as a collection, and thus are pleased to announce this compendium of writings entitled From The Lighthouse.

The articles cover a wide range of topics, as we considered both the world of A Course in Miracles as well as the world at large through the lens of the Course’s teachings on forgiveness. When taken together, as they are in this compendium, these writings provide a window into how we at the Foundation have seen A Course in Miracles as a spiritual path, as well as our own development as a center dedicated to preserving and teachings its principles.

Please get this book before class begins in October, either at facim.org , or on Amazon Prime.

** If possible, we suggest getting the hard copies of Ken Wapnick’s books for Thursday evening class discussions, and not the download versions… to be able to more easily follow along in class… thanks!

Course Immersion 2027: Five Month Online Intensive for All Students of “A Course in Miracles” (excellent for beginning students of ACIM, and also very helpful for long-time Course students!)

September 7, 2026

graphic School for A Course in Miracles: “The Universe of learning will open up before you in all its gracious simplicity.” - T-14.II.6:4

 Proposed 2027 Immersion Schedule:

Saturday Immersion Classes, Jan. thru May:

9:30-11am Mountain Time

(except no Immersion class on the last Saturday of each month)

Please adjust for time shift in USA in March, 2027 to Daylight Savings Time, one hr forward (depending on when and if your state or country changes).

Course Immersion 2027

starts January  2027 thru the end of May 2026….

with  live online classes on ACIM fundamentals, and one-on-one personal mentoring… and more:

Our Online Immersion 2026 program is different from our regular weekly classes. It is for people new to A Course in Miracles and anyone desiring to increase their understanding, appreciation, and practice of the Course from the ‘ground up,’ over the first five months of 2027. It can be described as an online ACIM intensive of basic training, not in blaming and fighting, but in the gentle arts of forgiveness and healing.

Online Course Immersion 2027

Five Month Intensive from January thru May, 2027,

Designed for those new to “A Course in Miracles” …

and anyone desiring to re-immerse themselves

in a profound understanding and practice of the Course.

———–

An ultimate in Course education and practice!

Come, study, and experience A Course in Miracles (ACIM) with our School for ACIM facilitators, who have collectively studied, practiced, and taught the Course for over 200 years. This is a five month online program, from January  through May 2027.

We cover and explore in-depth all of the fundamental ideas on forgiveness and healing in the Course, and the how-to’s for practical application in our everyday lives.

Be part of a close-knit interactive community of about 10 to 20 Course students, who for four months..

  • are working a lesson a day (on their own) from Ken Wapnick’s “Journey Through The Workbook,”
  • are spiritually growing together (both facilitators and participants alike) as they study  a carefully selected set of Course topics that progressively build to an overall understanding and practice of  the Course’s process of forgiveness and healing,
  • are supported and encouraged with one-on-one mentoring throughout that process.

1) The program includes online one and a half hour classes  Saturday evenings @ 5:30pm-7pm Mt. each month for five months (except last Sat. of each month), on a developing series of meticulously chosen Course topics. . All classes are streamed live using the free app Zoom and are recorded and made available to all participants for replay and review.

2) We provide access to many hours of listening from our Dr. Kenneth Wapnick Memorial Library to specific Ken seminars that explore each of the Immersion topics that we cover. We believe Ken Wapnick is the world-renowned authority on the Course, and he is the beloved Course teacher for all our SFACIM facilitators. Access to these audio seminars from the School’s Ken Wapnick Library are included in the Immersion tuition.

3) During the Immersion we also provide free access to all our other regular weekly online classes … and access to hundreds of SFACIM video class replays on the many topics and themes in ACIM, including the ego and the Holy Spirit, the purpose of time, and the three steps of forgiveness.

4) Since all our relationships provide the ‘classrooms’ in which we learn forgiveness, we dedicate a special half-day seminar on “Relationships ” on a Saturday as part of the Immersion. It is Zoomed live online. (This seminar is included in the Immersion tuition.)

5) One of the most valued aspects of the Course Immersion is the one-on-one mentoring sessions by our well-practiced facilitators. These take place twice a month during the five months.

Suggested Guidelines for Online Class Participation

November 8, 2024

 Guidelines for

SFACIM Online Class Participation:

We are a School for A Course in Miracles (SFACIM), whose classes’ purpose is to present a coherent, consistent, and clear process of forgiveness based on Dr. Kenneth Wapnick’s teachings on Jesus’s A Course in Miracles (ACIM).

**Unlike most ACIM meetings and discussion groups, our SFACIM classes are different in that they are actual classes, and are not meant to be open forums for Course students and other Course teachers to give their own teachings and opinions about the Course, or other spiritual systems or other spiritual books.

Questions are definitely encouraged as in any classroom situation, and examples of students practicing forgiveness are often requested from the facilitators.

It is quite helpful at times to discuss and share what has, and hasn’t worked, for us in our own process of working and applying the Course, and specifically Ken Wapnick’s teachings on it.

To do that we first have to begin to learn what forgiveness and healing are in ACIM… as we study Ken Wapnick’s teachings on the Course.

During class, we try to avoid advice-giving (also called crosstalk in 12 step meetings)… directly to someone else or the group as a whole. Our personal challenge is for us to become aware and responsible for our own process of the ‘undoing’ of our own ego selfishness and preoccupation, and not to avoid that process in ourselves by sometimes trying to “help” or fix someone else.

  • We definitely discourage individuals consistently judging and attacking others and their shares at mtgs (including in some unusual cases verbal bullying and/or intimidation). Those specific issues will be addressed and dealt with appropriately in as kind but firm way as possible. Once addressed, if that inappropriate behavior continues, we will ask the person not to return to the mtgs. We are trying to create and  maintain a safe environment for all of us in our sharing.

It is suggested and appreciated that all class participants take advantage of the opportunity to simply be students again, ask questions if so guided, and listen and learn and apply the Course teachings right there in class… no matter how many times they have heard or even taught the material themselves.

We are grateful for your patience and understanding.

Over-sharing in classes:

Although we definitely like and encourage our participants to share their questions and thoughts at our classes, please be mindful of over-sharing at the SFACIM classes. Some of us can get pretty chatty, and if we  think we might be doing that, we probably are. Any more than 6 to 8 shares per class is most likely too much.

It is very helpful simply to listen and spend time in class actually practicing forgiveness, and maybe not talk so much, giving others a chance to say something.

———–

Focusing on our own forgiveness of  others and ourselves…

Also please try in our shares to bring whatever we are discussing into a current framework of ACIM and its practice of forgiveness, whether it’s commenting on our past spiritual practices or anything else. In sharing about our past or current times where we feel like we may have failed God and/or ourselves, we try to eventually focus on how our forgiveness practice (by inviting Jesus’ or the Holy Spirit’s presence in our awareness) has helped us see past that guilt and shame, to who we truly are.

Any question about any of this please contact Tim and/or Lyn…. and most of all, thanks so much for your continued attendance and your willingness to participate in our classes and meetings.

Suggested more quiet time to actually integrate what we are talking about…

We would also recommend to our facilitators at least two full minutes of quiet time at the beginning and end of each class, and even sometimes in the middle of a class to help integrate quietly what is being discussed.

… best ask a participant to actually set a timer to remind the facilitator when at least two minutes of quiet have passed.

 No eating during classes please…

If however you do need to eat during class because of time constraints, please turn off  your video camera, while eating or moving around, so as not to be a distraction during class…. Thanks.

For Strongest and Most Consistent Signal during a Zoom session…

We recommend sitting as close to your router as possible, with your laptop or smart phone… This eliminates significantly a lot of the frozen screens and loss of audio during streaming.

Also, if you have the ‘5G’ option on network preferences on your computer, choose the 5G option over the regular option. (click here for tips on receiving stronger wifi signal)

And  for strongest signal, hardwire your computer to your router for the best signal during the class.

Info on wires, where to get them, and hooking them up: click here

Online Class Guidelines:

“Please Have Your Video Camera on During Class!”

Please have your video camera on during our 90 min. classes, and our free 75 min. sessions,

so we can see each others’ faces…

except for times when: 1) you are eating, or 2) you may need to move around during class, or 3) you may not be feeling well. .. thanks!

Video Tip:

*It helps to be aware of front lighting on your face instead of back lighting when on streaming… Otherwise your face will be silhouetted  and cannot be seen on the screen.
